Joshua Claxton was born on the 15th November 1991 in Romford, London. He later moved out to Brentwood, and again to Chelmsford at the age of 4. When he started high school, at King Edward Vl High School, he decided to take up playing the guitar.

He was notably the lead guitarist and singer for the alternative / indie band 'Taboo!' with which he spent the majority of his career playing for, however opting to leave to pursue his solo career.
