Josie Russell was a fictional character on the Australian soap opera Home and Away, portrayed by Laurie Foell from 2004 to 2005.
Josie caused quite a stir when she arrived in 2004 because of her resemblance to her deceased cousin Angie Russell.
Josie settled into the area and began dating Jesse McGregor who had previously, dated Angie and was a friend to her daughter Tasha Andrews.
Following her break-up with Jesse, Josie left for America.
In Late 2006, Josie sent a letter to Tasha inviting her, her husband Robbie and their daughter to join her over there.
