Joshua David Forney (born April 18, 1976) American Rock Guitarist and Performer.

Forney was born in Iowa City, Iowa. He co-starred with his father Gary Forney in Off The Charts: The Song Poem Story, broadcast on PBS in 2003. The film gave him status as a cult icon in the little known field of "Song poem" music.

He has furthered his career with legendary performances in Chicago, along with other venues, playing guitar for the surreal Iowa mountain tour of which he is a co-founder.

In 2006, Joshua Forney and his father, Gary Forney contributed two metal edged blues songs, "Mojo Bone" and "Amelia", to the soundtrack of the comedic horror film "Puppy", starring Calico Cooper, daughter of rock legend Alice Cooper.

Forney has resided in Dubuque, Iowa since 2001, where he is a restaurant manager. He continues to play guitar and write music which he performs with his father, Gary Forney.
