Joshua Foer

Joshua Foer is a freelance journalist living in New York City, with a primary focus on science. In November 2006, Foer sold his first book, Moonwalking with Einstein, for a reported $1.2 million to Penguin for publication in 2009. [1] According to Variety Paramount Pictures bought the rights to adapt the book for the screen.[2] His work has appeared in The New York Times,1 The Washington Post,[3] Slate,[4] and The Nation.[5] He is the younger brother of New Republic editor Franklin Foer and novelist Jonathan Safran Foer. He was born in Washington, DC and graduated from Yale University in 2004.

He is the Secretary of the Athanasius Kircher Society, a group created to "perpetuate the spirit and sensibilities of the late Athanasius Kircher, SJ"[6]
