Josh Tierney

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Josh Tierney is a short story writer from London, Ontario. Although his work has been published in numerous magazines, he is mostly known for his website, which is unique in that not only does it feature stories, but also accompanying artwork. These are the works of notable artists from around the world, ranging from the cartoons of Ramon Sierra to the paintings of Winston Chmielinski.

Josh Tierney's stories are usually surreal or absurd, involving characters who are placed in impossible dreamlike situations. Josh Tierney has been accused of hiding shallow stories under a layer of gross verbiage, and indeed his story 12 November 1993 was written through the use of a thesaurus. Not much is known about his personal life, but he is considered a notable writer of London, Ontario by the CSLC.
