Born to Curt Shanks and Teresa Shanks

Curt Shanks was involved in very early development of the skin graph machine. This mainly took place at Tate Model & Engineering

Josh Shanks spent the first years of his life living in Newport Beach, California

Before he started elementary school his parents moved to Kokomo, Indiana During high school at WHS Western School Corporation Josh worked on various school films that were posted to various websites see PhasedReality

Was a staple in the Model Rocketry community. We featured multiple times in July, 1997 issue of High Power Rocketry Magazine Placed under LVL 3 with father Curtis Shanks

Josh graduated International Business College in 2002 with a degree in Graphic Design.

in 2003 Worked in advertising department at Unversity Loft, under direction of Jason Nye

After multiple ventures in advertising and design. Josh went to work to try to find his first film project. That came from Gary Wood.

Josh did preliminary design work for multiple independent films. After discovering Woodworks Filmworks through local independent film site The Film Commune With Saving Star Wars Josh worked on various items including early versions of the website, logo, and poster.

With work commitments Josh stepped down from the project but in the end stayed on as an Associate Producer.

Josh was the associate producer of the 2006 film "Open Mic'rs" and the associate producer of the 2004 film "Saving Star Wars."

in 2006 Josh moved to Brooklyn, New York. He currently works in the technology industry.

In 2004, with inspiration from the Donald Trump book Art of the Deal Josh purchased a home in Meridian Hills in Indianapolis, Indiana.

In 2006, Josh had plans of purchasing a downtown Kokomo, Indiana building and rename it Shanks Building. However plans fell through after inspections and local real estate advisors warned against the purchase.

Josh currently manages recording artist BML Music. Which is comprised of multiple bands across multiple idependant labels. In 2007, one of his bands released a CD under the name of Seed A.I..
