Josh McDaniels (born April 2, 1976 in Canton, Ohio) is the American football offensive coordinator and quarterbacks coach for the New England Patriots of the National Football League. McDaniels is notable as being the youngest offensive coordinator in the history of the NFL, accepting the position at age 29 after the 2005 season.

McDaniels first joined the Patriots as an assistant in the scouting department in 2001. After that season, in which the Patriots won Super Bowl XXXVI over the St. Louis Rams, McDaniels moved over to the defensive coaching staff, where he would remain until he became the quarterbacks coach in 2004. A graduate of John Carroll University, McDaniels was a graduate assistant and coach under Nick Saban, now head coach of the University of Alabama and former coach of the Miami Dolphins, when Saban led the Michigan State Spartans.

His father Thom is a prominent high school coach in Ohio.
