Josh Lawson

Joshua Lawson (born 1981), Australian actor and comedian, grew up in Brisbane, Queensland, and attended St. Joseph's College in Gregory Terrace. He graduated from Australia's National Institute of Dramatic Arts (NIDA) in 2001. He also spent one year studying improvisation techniques in Los Angeles at The Second City and The Groundlings.

Lawson has had guest-starring roles in such popular Australian television programs as Blue Heelers and Home and Away, but is probably best-known for his appearances on unscripted comedy program Thank God You're Here. He is currently filming a lead role in the upcoming television drama Sea Patrol. Josh has also starred in several television commercials, including advertisements for 'Cherry Coke', and 'Gold Class' Cinemas.

In 2006, he made his feature film debut in Boytown. His older brother Ben Lawson has a full-time role on popular soap opera Neighbours as professional gambler, "Frazer Yeats" .
