Josh Fields
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Josh Fields is a backup third baseman for the Chicago White Sox. He wears number 27.
As a minor leaguer he was an outstanding third baseman and many people believed him to be current White Sox third basebmen Joe Crede's replacement. However, manager Ozzie Guillen has been experimenting with Fields and teammates Jerry Owens and Ryan Sweeney in the outfield as possible replacements for Scott Podsednik or Brian Anderson. In Fields's first major-league at-bat, he hit a home run.
