Joseph Todaro, Jr.
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Joseph "Big Joe" Todaro, Jr. is an alleged Buffalo organized crime figure involved in labor racketeering, loansharking, illegal gambling, narcotics and murder for hire. A longtime business agent for Local 210, he resigned his position in 1990 following investigations regarding charges of the labor union's ties to organized crime.
According to the United States Department of Justice, Todaro assumed the day to day running of the Bufalo crime family from his father Joseph Todaro, Sr. in 1999 (although his father, who moved to Florida during the mid 1990s, remains official head of the crime family as of late 2001).
He is also part owner of the La Nova pizzeria, one of the largest franchises in the Buffalo area.
