Joseph McCarthy (born September 27, 1885 in Somerville, Massachusetts - died December 18, 1943 in New York City) was an American songwriter and composer who worked on a number of Hollywood productions spanning a period of 50 years from 1926 to 1976.
He has - together with Cy Coleman - written and composed a world-famous song called The Riviera.
