Jose Tomas Bovas (1782-1814)

Born in Ovieda, in the province of Asturias, Spain, known for his cruelties during the wars of independence in Greater Colombia.


Renowned smuggler and local merchant, settling down in the Llanos Orientales in the Vice-Royalty of Nueva Granada.
