Jose Miguel Tuason "Mike" Arroyo (born June 27, 1946) is the husband of Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo, the current President of the Philippines and is the current First Gentleman of the Philippines, being the spouse of a female President of the Philippines. His major projects as First Gentleman were the funding of the training of Philippine athletes for the 2005 Southeast Asian Games held in the Philippines. An attorney by profession, he became the main target of attacks against his wife's administration by the political opposition that once lead to his voluntary exile.
