Jose Coye

Jose Coye (b. 1942) is a Belizean politician and a member of the People's United Party. He was mayor of Belize City from 1995-1998 and was elected to parliament in 1998 (from the Caribbean Shores constituency). As of 2007 he is Minister of Public Works and Minister of State, Finance.
Coye was trained as a Chartered Accountant and worked as a customs officer before going into politics.
