José Ramalho Carvalho de Freitas, or simply Ramalho (born June 3, 1980 in Natal), is a Brazilian defensive-midfielder. He currently plays for São Paulo on loan from Serie C outfit Santo André for the 2006 season.

He recently signed with Israeli title chasers Beitar Jerusalem. He has joined two other Brzilians that play for the team, Cleber Schwenck and Tuto Ruschel, and was signed as a replacement for another brazilian, Joeano Pinto.
