José María Merino

José María Merino is a Spanish novelist. He is the father of two daughters, María and Ana, both of them university professors. (Ana Merino is also a poet.) He was born in La Coruña, Spain and lives in Madrid. Notable works include:

  • Las cróicas mestizas
  • La orilla oscura
  • Las visiones de Lucrecia
