Jose Manuel Jurado Marín (born 29 June 1986) also know as Jurado was born in Sanlucar de Barrameda in Province of Cádiz. He currently plays for Atlético Madrid.
Jurado is an attacking midfielder and 2nd striker, but generally enjoys just sitting behind a sole striker. He was the star of Real Madrid Castilla and one of the youngest players alongside Javi Garcia. He is a specialty free-kick taker with a cannon of a left foot. He is arguably the greatest talent in the Real Madrid cantera, the only player who can match his talent is centre midfielder Esteban Granero.
He has made possibly 5 appearances with the 1st team of Real Madrid, most notably his appearance against Olympiakos in the Champions League.
On August 4, 2006 Jurado moved to city rivals Atlético Madrid for a reported fee of 3 million euros. He has signed a four year contract.
- Like with Arbeloa before him, Real Madrid included a "Special Clause" in Jurado's contract.
Real Madrid will have the option of buying Jurado back at the end of the 07/08 season for free.
