Zé Roberto full name José Gomes-Santana (born October 13, 1978 in São Paulo) is a Brazilian footballer.
In 2000, Zé Roberto signed for the Hershey Wildcats of the USL First Division where he recorded 5 goals and 3 assists in 25 games and was named Hershey’s Rookie of the Year. In 2001 Zé Roberto scored 4 goals and 4 assists.
In 2002, Zé Roberto signed for the Montreal Impact where he helped the Impact win the League Championship in 2004 and in 2005 Zé Roberto helped the Impact to a 15-game undefeated streak, a league record. In total, Zé Roberto has scored 25 goals and 23 assists in the USL First Division.
In 2006, Zé Roberto signed a 3 year deal with the Montreal Impact.
