Jorge da Silva

Jorge Orosmán da Silva Echeverrito (born December 11, 1961 in Montevideo) is a retired football striker from Uruguay, who was nicknamed "Polilla" during his professional career. Having made his official debut on February 20, 1982 against South Korea (2-2), Da Silva obtained a total number of 26 international caps for the Uruguay national football team. He represented his native country at the 1986 FIFA World Cup, wearing the number nine jersey.
