Jorge DePaula

Jorge Depaula is a Major League Baseball right handed pitcher for the New York Yankees. He was born on October 11, 1978 in Sabana Grande, Dominican Republic. He first pitched for the team after September callups in the 2003 season, but his main presence was not known until the beginning of the 2004 season, when he was the teams fifth starter. However, after only one start and two relief appearances, it was clear that he needed Tommy John surgery, and did not pitch again on a major league level until September 2 of the next season.
