Jorge Altamira

Jorge Altamira is the nom-de-guerre of José Saul Wermus (b. 1943, Buenos Aires), Secretary-General of the Workers' Party in Argentina.
He is also one of the nine people on the Co-ordinating Committee for the Refoundation of the Fourth International.
Altamira was a Buenos Aires city councillor from 2000 to 2004. He has also stood for President and National Deputy a few times.
His brother is Luis Favre.
