Jordanstown

Jordanstown is a small village area of housing in Newtownabbey, County Antrim, Northern Ireland, between the areas of Whiteabbey and Monkstown. It is the site of the largest campus of the University of Ulster. It is also home to two special schools, The Jordanstown Deaf and Blind School and Rostulla. It is within the Newtownabbey Borough Council area.

Jordanstown, began as a small rural farm in the late C 19th and expanded as a suburb of Belfast in the 1950's due to the affordable housing for the more affluent middle classes, as it is adjacent to the lough and the railwaystation, Jordanstown grew to the large suburb that it is today, boasting and internationally renowned university, a bowling club, 3 schools and a shop.
