[edit] Sort order in categories
Hi Jonyyeh. Thanks for creating Category:ABC News. As a tip, when adding an article to a category you can specify how it will be alphabetized in the category listing. For example, in the Peter Jennings article, adding [[Category:ABC News]] will cause it to be listed under "P"; you can make it appear under "J" as one would expect by entering [[Category:ABC News|Jennings, Peter]]. Cheers. - choster 15:28, 24 February 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Your recent edit to Michael Savage
Hello, I noticed you changed Citadel Communications to Citadel Broadcasting. Just thought I'd let you know that according to the article "Citadel to Buy Most of Disney Radio Assets" in The Wall Street Journal on February 6, 2006, the company is now known as "Citadel Communications" since Citadel merged with Disney's ABC Radio. I've made the appropriate corrections to the article.--WilliamThweatt 05:01, 30 June 2006 (UTC)
Ok, thanks for correcting my mistake. I thought it was still called Citadel Broadcasting. --Jonyyeh 13:55, 30 June 2006 (UTC)
[edit] "With" vs. "with"
Re World News With Charles Gibson: The usual style for titles in English is to not capitalize prepositions and articles such as "with", "of", "the" or "a" unless it's the first word in the title. See for instance Wheel of Fortune or Married... with Children. Even if this wasn't the case, the logo used at ABCNews.com, and even in the article itself, clearly does not capitalize the "with". I'd also point you to the press release, which, yes, does use the capitalized "With" in the article title but uses "World News with Charles Gibson" throughout the body of the text. I've moved it back to the "with" form. — stickguy (:^›)— home - talk - 15:53, 20 July 2006 (UTC)
[edit] License tagging for Image:Xtrememakeover.jpg
Thanks for uploading Image:Xtrememakeover.jpg. Wikipedia gets thousands of images uploaded every day, and in order to verify that the images can be legally used on Wikipedia, the source and copyright status must be indicated. Images need to have an image tag applied to the image description page indicating the copyright status of the image. This uniform and easy-to-understand method of indicating the license status allows potential re-users of the images to know what they are allowed to do with the images.
For more information on using images, see the following pages:
This is an automated notice by OrphanBot. If you need help on selecting a tag to use, or in adding the tag to the image description, feel free to post a message at Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. 15:14, 22 July 2006 (UTC)
[edit] New Disney infobox
I noticed you changed the infobox for Fantasmic back to the older one, Template:Infobox Disney attraction is the newer one and that old one will probably be deleted. See the talk page to discuss this. --blm07 19:28, 7 October 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Your opinion wanted
Hi, just wanted to know if you could offer an opinion on a request for deletion on an article that you looked at once before. I think it's a historically significant interview, because it's one of the few (if only) examples where Clinton has gone on record about his administration's performance on al Queda...
Thanks..
[edit] Image:ABCgeorgewill.jpg
Thanks for uploading Image:ABCgeorgewill.jpg. I notice the 'image' page specifies that the image is being used under fair use, but its use in Wikipedia articles fails our first fair use criterion in that it illustrates a subject for which a freely licensed image could reasonably be found or created. If you believe this image is not replaceable, please:
- Go to the image description page and edit it to add {{Replaceable fair use disputed}}
- On the image discussion page, write the reason why this image is not replaceable at all.
If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified how these images fully satisfy our fair use criteria. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on this link. Note that any fair use images which are replaceable by free-licensed alternatives will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. – Quadell (talk) (random) 16:02, 1 November 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Your Edit to the Template:AZ-FedRep
Thank you for your edit to the Template:AZ-FedRep. However, since the incoming members of Congress haven't taken their seats in Congress (and won't till around Jan. 2007 or Feb. 2007), I have reverted your edit to the previous version. Since the term of the 109th Congress hasn't ended, I don't think it is necessary to change the template now. However, I am open to including the representative-elects in a seperate section of the template. Jonyyeh 05:21, 10 November 2006 (UTC)
- Yes, a few people did the same with other state templates. Since I know this issue will go back and forth for the next two months, I created Template:110th Arizona Congress delegation to give people the option of including the upcoming Congress instead of the one with lame ducks. —Wknight94 (talk) 12:03, 10 November 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Orphaned fair use image (Image:Ads foxnews com.gif)
Thanks for uploading Image:Ads foxnews com.gif. I notice the 'image' page currently specifies that the image is unlicensed for use on Wikipedia and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable under fair use (see our fair use policy).
If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any fair use images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. --Durin 15:17, 1 December 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Image:Gstw.jpg
Thanks for uploading Image:Gstw.jpg. I notice the 'image' page specifies that the image is being used under fair use, but its use in Wikipedia articles fails our first fair use criterion in that it illustrates a subject for which a freely licensed image could reasonably be found or created that provides substantially the same information. If you believe this image is not replaceable, please:
- Go to the image description page and edit it to add {{Replaceable fair use disputed}}, without deleting the original Replaceable fair use template.
- On the image discussion page, write the reason why this image is not replaceable at all.
Alternatively, you can also choose to replace the fair use image by finding a freely licensed image of its subject, requesting that the copyright holder release this (or a similar) image under a free license, or by taking a picture of it yourself.
Thank you. Chowbok ☠ 03:25, 2 December 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Your AIV report
Before reporting someone to AIV, you're supposed to warn them with templates from WP:UWT. If the user continues to vandalize after you've given a fourth-level warning, then feel free to report them, but they need to be warned first. -Amarkov moore cowbell! 22:38, 1 April 2007 (UTC)
