Hello World,

I am British, with a scientific background. I work in machine vision, having spent far too long as a student (BSc in Astrophysics, PhD in Medical Image Analysis, sounds good, eh?). I am now juggling my job (Technical Manager at a UK machine vision company) with a heavily pregnant wife and an eBay problem.

More of a lurker than a contributor, I occasionally overcome the British reserve and actually speak to the world.
