Jonathan R. Aicher (born December 17, 1984 - ) is a University of Maryland student and son of Jeanne Aicher and Richard Aicher. He is best known as the developer of pointless existentialism, a theory that all existence is, by definition, without merit or meaning. This theory falls under the realm of nihilism.

Born in Princeton, NJ, Aicher attended Lawrence High School in Lawrenceville, NJ. It was during this time that he gained his love of writing and playing ice hockey. Only the former of these carried over into his college years.

Currently, Aicher is a journalism student working for both M.C.M.C. Inc. and USA Today Sports.
