Talk:Jon Miller

[edit] Mock indignation
I don't know what I think about the phrase "mock indignation" in this article. I've heard that call many times, and I don't think there was anything "mock" about it. Miller seemed legitimately pissed off. Jcb9 03:29, 24 September 2005 (UTC)
[edit] Pronounciation
"Jon Miller, on occasion, will uniquely pronounce certain players' names. For example, when pronouncing Carlos Beltran he tends to put the majority of emphasis on the "A" of Beltran."
Well, Miller must know Spanish, because that is the way Beltrán is pronounced in Spanish (note the accent mark).
[edit] Pennant-clinching call
I'm not convinced that Miller said "it's wide". I always thought it was "it's off line"; though, to be fair, he *was* completely drowned out by Kruk & Kuip hollering in the background... Js farrar 02:05, 19 October 2006 (UTC)
