Jong Spirit

Jong Spirit (Young Spirit) is a political youth organisation in Flanders (Belgium). It is a left-liberal organisation for people aged between sixteen and thirty. Jong Spirit has about 500 members and is the official youth wing of Spirit. Its guiding principles are integral federalism, radical democracy, pluralism, sustainable development and pacifism. Jong Spirit is a member of both EFAY and IFLRY. Its president, since 2005, is Thomas Leys.
