Jondaryan Shire Council in Queensland, Australia is a Local Government Area on the Darling Downs west of the City of Toowoomba and containing the expanding western suburbs and satellite towns of Greater Toowoomba. The Shire is centred on the town of Oakey approximately 30 minutes drive from the Toowoomba CBD.

A significant portion of suburban Toowoomba lies within Jondaryan Shire.

Jondaryan Shire also shares borders with the Shires of Cambooya, Rosalie, Millmerran, Wambo, Pittsworth and Clifton.

The mayor, Peter Taylor, is an executive member (Director) of the Local Government Association of Queensland (LGAQ) representing the Darling Downs. He is also director of the Board of LG Super, which is a State wide superannuation fund for all local government employees.
