Jonathan Scott (born January 10, 1983 in Dallas, Texas) is an American football player who currently plays tackle for the NFL Detroit Lions. He was chosen in the fifth round of the 2006 NFL Draft, number 141 overall. During his college football career, Scott played offensive tackle for the Longhorns of the University of Texas. He graduated from UT in May 2005 (where he was on the Honor Roll several times) with a bachelor's degree in radio/television/film. He is a member of Omega Psi Phi fraternity. He is from Dallas, TX and attended Carter High School, where he was a three sport athlete as well as a good student, as he graduated with honors. His father is Ray Scott, former tight end for the NY Jets. His mother is a high school principle. He is unmarried and resides in Canton, MI. He enjoys producing beats, buying the latest electronics, and watching movies. One of his favorite meals is the Mexican Pizza from Taco Bell, minus the beans.
