Jonathan Rodriguez is the inventor of WebBrowserTV and WebBrowserRADIO. Although not technically correct*, he’s currently known as the pioneer father of TVoIP technology as we know it. WebBrowserTV and WebBrowserRADIO are two Internet-based softwares used to watch television and listen to radio worldwide (live) through the computer.

Rodriguez was born on July 1, 1982, in the capital of Dominican Republic (an island country near Puerto Rico, Jamaica, and Cuba). His family immigrated into US soil during the late ‘80s. He is the founder of BitMar.com (also known as BitMar Enterprises, and formerly known as BitMar Networks). His organization manufactures WebBrowserTV and WebBrowserRADIO softwares, and provides high-end web design and technology-based services on a national scale.

  • Rodriguez did not invent the actual streaming technology. His inventions are actually implementations based on the technology. According to records, he was denied a patent in 2004 by the US Government. He had no choice but to apply for an UTILITY patent in the same year (a patent that does not imply on ownership/authorship of the thecnology, but on an implementation).
