Jonathan Marray

Jonny Marray (born March 10, 1981 in Liverpool, England) is a British tennis player who represents Yorkshire. As of September 2006, he is the 11th highest ranked player in Britain.[1]. Marray regularly competes in doubles competitions as well as in singles, pairing up with other leading Brits such as Mark Hilton, Jamie Delgado and Martin Lee. His career-high ranking is 215, achieved in April 2005. In 2006 he plummetted down to a world ranking of 570 before mounting an incredible comeback after reaching the semi-finals of an ATP competition in Orléans, France[2], before losing to Olivier Rochus. He subsequently qualified for his first ATP Tour event outside the UK in Stockholm, and the semi Final of another lucrative event in Dnepropropetrovsk, Ukraine.
