Jonathan Mark Kenoyer

Dr.Jonathan Mark Kenoyer is an archaeologist and Professor of Anthropology at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. He is an American who was born on May 28, 1952 in Shillong, India. He earned his Bachelor of Arts,Master's and Doctorate degrees at the Berkeley, finishing in 1983. One of his main areas of expertise is the archaeological study of the ancient civilizations of the Indus Valley. He is considered one of the world's leading experts on the subject and is currently involved in the development of a new center for the study of the Ancient Indus Valley Civilization in Gujarat, India as part of the Global Heritage project.Indus Valley Civilization.From He is a fluent speaker of Urdu, Hindi and Bengali as well as other South Asian languages.
