Jonathan Makiling who is also known as Grandmaster Jonathan "June" Makiling Abaya is the founder of Jendo a Filipino martial art and the Filipino All-style Fighting Competition known in the Philippines as the AFC Sports or the Philippine Full Contact Sport.

He is the President and Chairman of the Board of the Philippine Jendo Association, Inc. and the Philippine Full Contact Self Defense Federation (PFCSDF), Inc.
