Jonathan Ronald James Forte (born. July 25, 1986 in Sheffield) is an English footballer who plays for Sheffield United as a winger.

One of Forte's most notable qualities is his blistering pace, which leaves many defenders standing.

[edit] Club Career

Forte has mostly been used as a substitute at Sheffield United, with only 5 of his appearances being from the start. He went on loan twice in 2005/06, to Doncaster and Rotherham. He scored 8 times (4 for each team) for these clubs, and played an important part in keeping Rotherham in League One.

In July 2006, Forte was re-signed by Doncaster Rovers, initially on a six-month loan deal. He helped Doncaster win the Johnstone's Paint Trophy on April 1, 2007 scoring the first goal in 3-2 (aet) victory against Bristol Rovers after only 43 seconds.

[edit] International Career

Jonathan has been capped at junior level by England, having played in a Youth World Cup Qualifier for his country.
