Jonathan Biss (b. about 1980) is an American classical pianist.

Biss has worked with many contemporary conductors and orchestras, and also gives solo recitals and plays chamber music.

Biss represents the third generation in a family of professional musicians, which includes his grandmother Raya Garbousova (for whom Samuel Barber composed his Cello Concerto), as well as his parents, violinist Miriam Fried and violinist/viola player Paul Biss. He has gained a number of awards and is the only American to date to have been chosen to participate in the BBC’s New Generation Artists’ scheme.
