Jonah Bobo (born January 24, 1997) is an American actor.

Bobo was born in New York City, New York to an Orthodox Jewish family;[1] his father, Scott, works in software[2] and his mother, Denise, is a physical therapist and personal trainer. He has a younger sister named Georgia. His great-grandmother was Tampa's businesswoman and philantropist Salha "Mama" Bobo.

Jonah is actually his middle. He hates his first name.

His first film role was in the 2004 independent film, The Best Thief in the World. He co-starred opposite Christopher Walken and Josh Lucas in the 2004 drama, Around the Bend, playing the youngest of a four-generation family. Bobo was subsequently cast in the big-budget fantasy film, Zathura, which opened in November 2005 to moderate box office, grossing $28 million in the United States.[3]

Bobo's most recent role was in another independent film, Strangers with Candy, which opened on June 28, 2006.

Jonah was going to voice Lucas in the Ant Bully, but the voice role went to Zach Tyler Eisen who also stars in The Backyardigans with him. Then he was going to play Plug in How To Eat Fried Worms, but replaced by Paul Butcher when the director deemed him too little to play that role. Jonah shares a birthday with Ricky Ullman.
