Jon Rappoport (born 1938) is an American journalist and author, currently living in San Diego, California with his wife, Dr. Laura Thompson. He has published nomorefakenews.com since 2001. He has been an investigative reporter for over 20 years. Rappoport has written seven books. Topics that he has reported on include medical fraud, deep politics, and health issues for newspapers and magazines in the US and Europe, including CBS Healthwatch, Spin, Stern and LA Weekly. The LA Weekly submitted his name as a nomination for a Pulitzer Prize, for his interview with the president of Salvador University, where a military takeover had occurred.
