Jon Evans (born 1973) is a Canadian novelist and journalist.
Born to an expatriate Rhodesian father and Canadian mother, he grew up in Waterloo, Ontario, and is a graduate of the University of Waterloo.
He won the 2005 Arthur Ellis Award for Best First Novel from the Crime Writers of Canada for his book Dark Places (2004) and has been reviewed in the Economist and Washington Post. Jon has also written for magazines such as Wired and The Walrus, and the newspaper The Globe and Mail.
Now based in Montreal, Quebec, Evans frequently travels the world to research the locations of his novels. He is currently working on a project with DC Comics.
