Jon Elliott is a liberal San Diego, California radio talk show host.
Jon Elliott hosts The Jon Elliott Show on the Air America radio network, weeknights from 10PM until 1 AM (Eastern Time).
Jon calls himself "The Most Dangerous Liberal in America" and he identifies his political values with the Democratic Party.
According to his online biography, Jon describes himself as "articulate, provocative, but not a radical".
His official online biography also mentions his business ventures prior to entering radio: "Over the past dozen years Jon Elliott has been the Chief Executive Officer and Chairman of the Board of Directors of, in succession, a broadcasting company, a casino gaming company and an Internet company – all publicly traded companies."

Jon Elliott hosts “The Jon Elliott Show” airing Monday through Friday 10 PM – Midnight Eastern Time, (7-9 PM Pacific) nationwide on the Air America radio network and XM satellite radio. In its February, 2007 issue Talkers magazine named him one of the Top 250 radio talk show hosts in America, despite being on the radio for less than three years. His daily radio program now ranks in the top 10 progressive radio talk shows in the country.
Jon Elliott is a seasoned business executive possessing strong management skills with an emphasis on marketing. Entrepreneurial in nature yet detailed in his focus, his strengths are leadership, marketing and creative solutions to complex problems. A successful businessman, he charted the growth of many corporations in industries ranging from hospitality to fast food to health clubs with the companies either being acquired by a large publicly traded corporation, completing an IPO, or merging with a large private company.
From 1988 through 2002 Jon served as CEO of three publicly traded companies in the broadcasting, gaming and Internet industries.
In the Fall of 2002, frustrated and angered with the direction of the country under the leadership of President Bush, he decided to apply his determination to making a change. Jon decided to become a liberal talk show host.
Passionate about the principles for all Americans espoused by the Democratic Party, he reasoned radio would give him the platform to provide an alternative message to the American people who were being exposed only to an overflow of conservative news and viewpoints.
In October, 2004 The Jon Elliott Show began airing for two hours on Sunday afternoons on KLSD radio in San Diego. In April, 2005 Jon became the first person to broadcast a live radio program from the DNC’s new broadcast facility. In September, 2005 the show expanded to include two hours on Saturday afternoons. In September, 2006 he went national on Air America and XM radio.
