[edit] Career
Daly started his career with Stockport County, where he scored 14 times in 91 league appearances for the Hatters. During his seven years at Edgeley Park, he had loan spells with Bury and Grimsby Town, both during the 2004-05 season. In February 2005, Daly signed for Hartlepool, where he would stay for the next two years. Another loan spell at Bury occurred in 2006, and after Hartlepool signed Richard Barker, Daly was allowed to join Dundee Utd in January 2007 for an undisclosed fee.
