Jon Beare (born May 10, 1974 in London, Ontario) is a Canadian rower. He started rowing in 1988 and is a graduate of the University of Western Ontario. He has won three silver medals on the world cup circuit: in 2003 and 2004 in lightweight fours (both in Lucerne, Switzerland) and in 2001 in the pairs event (in Princeton, New Jersey). At 32 years of age, Beare likely has only one more chance to attain the Olympic Gold that has so far eluded him.
