Jon Bauer is a writer of literary and speculative fiction based in Australia but of English origin. He was runner-up in the 2006 Bridport Rpize and has a stroy in the current edition of The Sleepers Almanac for sale in Australia and New Zealand. Bauer is currently working on a novel involving a Moroccan Muslim for release in 2008 called The Prophet of Loss.
