Joker Wild

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Joker Wild is a video poker game based on five card draw where the player is dealt a five card hand. The player can then choose which cards to keep or discard and is dealt new cards accordingly. The game uses a standard 52 card deck and one joker. The joker acts as a "wild card" and can be substituted for any card in the deck according to what is most beneficial to the player's hand. This allows the player greater flexibility in building a winning hand. The inclusion of the joker also makes it possible to have Five of a Kind which is not possible in normal draw poker and is the second highest hand after a Royal Flush.

Players can bet one to five coins per hand ranging from twenty-five cents to five dollars per coin. The payouts for "natural" hands that do not include the joker are higher than those including the "wildcard". The payout percentage ranges from 97.19% to 100.65%.
