Agarwal served as a member of the Professional Committee of the Asian Business Association, chaired by Regina Leong and Michelle Trinh. He was known as an avid participant at all events. Leong says of Agarwal, “He was very polished when I first met him, but it's been really rewarding for me to see him further develop professionally and personally this semester.”

[edit] Spring 2006

This semester Agarwal came onto cabinet as the Pre-Business Chair for ABA, with Shaochen Wu as his co-chair. Together the two have written over 23,456,723 emails, cold-called over 30 companies, and accumulated approximately 4 miles of instant messaging logs.

As Pre-Business Chairs, Agarwal and Wu maintained exam files, produced the Haas Resource Guide, maintained the ABA website, and hosted five events to benefit the student community:

Business Symposium April 15, 2006

This joint project with Stanford University’s Business Association of Stanford Engineering Students became the co-chairs’ lives. At each step of planning the business plan competition/professional event, the co-chairs encountered a new challenge – whether it was composing the judging criteria, canvassing for sponsorships, preparing speeches, flyering like crazy, or simply finding time to eat and sleep.

Agarwal says, “the work put into the event was a greater learning experience than the event itself.” Although the 100 attendees of the event saw only the product of five months work, Agarwal and Wu will forever remember the process and the journey they took to get to April 15, 10 am.

Alumni Dinner May 5, 2006

Shaochen would like to thank Milan for a semester of support, inspiration, hard work, loud laughs, personal growth, and most of all, true friendship.

Through all the challenges of this year, Agarwal has balanced his school work, extracurriculars, and personal life expertly. Agarwal has remained close with his family and especially his twin sister Monali Agarwal, who is currently attending Harvard University. Furthermore, he always finds time for all the fawning girls in his building.
