I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Please sign your name on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically produce your name and the date. It is felt that the article you created at John S. Riley is not suitable for a Wikipedia article, which must have a notable subject and be verifiable. I have moved it to User:JohnSriley, which is where users are free to write about themselves. You are at liberty to move it back into the (Main) namespace but bear in mind that if you do so, it is likely to be nominated for deletion.

Note, however, that the purpose of a user page is to enable active editors of Wikipedia to introduce themselves to other editors. Wikipedia is not a general hosting service, so your user page is not a personal homepage. Content unrelated to Wikipedia or its editing is likely to be removed.

Please see the user page guidelines, especially this section for more information. Fan-1967 00:26, 6 November 2006 (UTC)

[edit] John S. Riley

A tag has been placed on John S. Riley, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done because the article seems to be about a person, group of people, band, club, company, or web content, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is notable (see the guidelines for notability here). If you can indicate why the subject of this article is notable, you may contest the tagging. To do this, please affix the template {{hangon}} to the page and leave a note on the article's talk page explaining your position. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself.

Please read the criteria for speedy deletion (specifically, article #7) and our general biography criteria. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this.

It is not about whether you are "a good man". It's about whether you are a Notable one. Fan-1967 00:31, 6 November 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Removing speedy delete tag

Please do not remove speedy deletion tags from articles that you have created yourself. If you do not believe the article deserves to be deleted, then please place {{hangon}} on the page and make your case on the article's talk page. Administrators will look at your reasoning before deciding what to do with the article. Thank you. --ArmadilloFromHell 00:35, 6 November 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Final warning

Please stop removing speedy deletion notices from articles that you have created yourself. If you continue to remove them, you will be blocked from editing Wikipedia. --ArmadilloFromHell 00:40, 6 November 2006 (UTC)

Please stop. If you continue to vandalize pages, as you did to The Westminster Schools, you will be blocked from editing Wikipedia. --ArmadilloFromHell 00:41, 6 November 2006 (UTC)

Welcome to Wikipedia. We invite everyone to contribute constructively to our encyclopedia. Take a look at the welcome page if you would like to learn more about contributing. However, unconstructive edits, such as those you made to 1994, are considered vandalism. If you continue in this manner you may be blocked from editing without further warning. Please stop, and consider improving rather than damaging the work of others. Thank you. --ArmadilloFromHell 00:42, 6 November 2006 (UTC)

Please do not remove legitimate warnings from your talk page or replace them with inappropriate content. Removing or maliciously altering warnings from your talk page will not remove them from the page history. You're welcome to archive your talk page, but be sure to provide a link to any deleted legitimate comments. If you continue to remove or vandalize legitimate warnings from your talk page, you will lose your privilege of editing your talk page. Thanks. --ArmadilloFromHell 00:45, 6 November 2006 (UTC)

Your repeated efforts to vandalize articles makes it seem that you are unaware that Wikipedia is a serious project. You have been reported to the administration group for continuing vandalism and an administrator will review your contributions shortly. You may not receive another warning before being blocked, so be careful and be serious from now on. If you are blocked, please reconsider your behavior once the block expires.

Hello. I'm John Riley. I would appreciate it if the Administrators would go light on the new people because I don't understand exactly how this works. ((unsigned|JohnSriley}

Go easy!!! - sometimes I have sympathy, but for you it's much too hard for me based on previous and current actions

You blanked out this talk page

You have removed several user warning templates from your user or user talk page. This is a bad idea. These warnings are not put on your talk page to annoy you; they are put here because other editors think that your behavior needs improvement, and we're giving you the courtesy of letting you know. When you remove the warnings without replying, it gives the impression that you do not care that your editing behavior may be a problem. Please respond by changing your behavior, and please stop removing the warnings. Thank you.

You vandalized my user page
Please stop. If you continue to target users' pages for vandalism you will be blocked from editing Wikipedia. --ArmadilloFromHell 01:25, 10 November 2006 (UTC)
