Hello, I'm a graduate student in the Telecommunication, Information Studies and Media department at Michigan State University. I am currently conducting research about Wikipedia.

[edit] About My Research

Here are the details... I am a researcher seeking to interview Wikipedia contributors for my Master's Thesis research. At this point, I'm especially interested in occasional, new, or “average” editors. In-depth, one hour interviews are conducted over either phone or email. If you're interested, compensation for your time will be provided – a $10 gift certificate to Amazon.com. Must be 18+ and U.S. resident. Contact Benjamin Johnson, Department of Telecommunication, Information Studies and Media, Michigan State University, by email at john2429 at msu.edu or by phone at 517.230.1272.

Hopefully, I'll be sharing some of my findings in this space and on Wiki-research-l.

• Diffusion of change in the radio and music industries

• Telecommunication and intellectual property policy

• Media content themes, cultural trends, and criticism

I'm also interested in, and currently involved with, both teaching and public radio.
