[edit] Miraculously Survived?
Here in the US, there are thousands of people who were interred in concentration camps. Millions of people survived. What is so miraculous about this one man surviving? Benzapp 22:16, 6 April 2006 (UTC)
- history reveals that the survival rate in Germany was much lower than the USA Anlace 22:54, 6 April 2006 (UTC)

[edit] copyright of image?
The image is labeled with a PD tag, but that seems implausible. Is there any evidence that it's PD?--207.233.84.222 17:29, 6 April 2006 (UTC)
- the image came from the german wikipedia so it shouldnt be an issue Anlace 19:52, 6 April 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Birthyear Confusion
So I have trouble reconciling his birthyear. All the chronologies I've found list his year of birth as 1912, but in my mind that doesn't agree with the rest of his dates. He graduated from school in 1922, and was done with art school by 1928 as a master student. If he really was born in 1912, that means he graduated at age 10 and was done with post-secondary education by age 16.
Later on, it says he died at age 89 in 1992... which would mean he was born in 1902. That aligns much better with possible ages for finishing school and art education, no?

- your points are excellent ygg. all the data ive seen say 1912, but everything else points to 1902. shall we be bold and just change it to 1902? Anlace 19:54, 6 April 2006 (UTC)
