- Oppose Mount Schank, Australia is named after him and his 1820 portrait by Sir William Beechey is labelled Admiral John Schank. Also there are a couple Captains of the American Revolution that use the spelling SchanckJavadane 21:57, 30 June 2006 (UTC)
