[edit] Baseball?

I have not found a record of a "John Peterman" ever playing for the Pirates. Either he used a different name, which should be stated, or it is untrue. Saruyama 17:56, 10 March 2006 (UTC)

His participation with the Pirates is metioned in many articles about him, although I've seen conflicting reference to it as "minor league" in some places but "major league" in most other places.
