Talk:John Melendez

What's the big deal here? The extra info does no harm (so long as it can be confirmed). So anons - stop removing it. --mav 01:50, 8 Jan 2005 (UTC)
- agree it's no more then anyone else that was or still is a major player on the stern show, or in the entertainment biz as a whole. --Boothy443 01:54, 8 Jan 2005 (UTC)
- As the originator of the article, I also agree with the above. The confirmed extra information in a bio. gives the reader an insight as to how and why the person became whom he/she is. Tony the Marine
- The extra info is useful and it helps flesh out this biography. Anon, please cease reversion to the information-stripped version. Andre (talk) 20:10, Jan 8, 2005 (UTC)
This info is incorrect- "Howard Stern fans claim that Melendez allegedly stole the Jaywalking segment from Stern's show (based on Melendez's stunts), but changed it into a less offensive style". Jaywalking actually started before Melendez began his tenure as announcer. Though it is correct that Jay Leno did steal the idea from when Melendez was on Howard Stern.—The preceding unsigned comment was added by 68.43.94.13 (talk • contribs) 21:03, 13 January 2007 (UTC)
Why is this article directed to when someone searches "John the Stutterer"? John the Stutterer and "Stuttering John" are two different people.—The preceding unsigned comment was added by 69.109.62.60 (talk • contribs) 07:54, 20 March 2007 (UTC)
